Liked and subscribed! Also: love the word wherewithal. Making money isn’t anywhere near as motivating as accruing wherewithal 🧙🏻‍♂️✨

First off, a hello from a fellow WOP-an, Christin. This post is so relatable! Sometimes, the journey of content creation is more about finding our own voice than just updating the past, right? I love what I'm reading. I'm excited to read more of your work!

Awesome.

Remastering requires an improved set of tools that allows the modern engineer to improve on the mastering of the past. When we are older do we have a more powerful set of tools and better awareness that allows us to remaster the stuff we produced when we were younger? I wonder if there's a way to ensure the improvement of the writing skill toolbox other than just practice.

The video you shared makes me wonder. Do you like Pink Floyd?

I'm not as familiar with pink floyd's work (i mean...besides the famous album cover ^_^;;) and i wonder how you recommend i educate my ears!

The more you listen to different things, the better your ears will get. Sometimes if you listen to old recordings you have made you think, "Argh! That is terrible." But it is a sign that your ears are becoming more discriminating, and that is something to be cherished if you are creating content.

yes! and what i'm learning to do is to love the old stuff/self too, instead of going "man that was so bad i can do so much better now"

Love this reflection and how our creations have a central message but need to be remastered to resonate with different times. Some would say that is sacrilege and yet done right it could be an even greater masterpiece… especially in our very weird uncertain times

Love how this all turned out -- personal, vulnerable, and exciting (sharing your next move heh)! And I like the concept of re-mastering, something I've been thinking about with my content but you managed to introduce a new vocab in my world so I can "speak" it into existence :)
